PI-03 Power Over Ethernet, PoE Power Injector

The Pakedge PI-03 is an advanced IEEE 802.3af compliant device with Endspan Intelligent Detection. The device does not turn on power until it detects a valid PoE signature from the devices attached downstream on the Ethernet cable.

This protects against damage to non-compliant equipment. In addition, voltage is inserted at 48V into the Ethernet cable, therefore the installer does not need to worry about voltage drops due to cable length. The PI-03 is not a Pakedge proprietary unit, it will power any device fully compliant to IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.
