Preconstruction Bracket - Overview

The WAP-C2 was designed so it can be installed WITHOUT the Preconstruction/Attic-Install Bracket for preconstruction installations. However, we highly recommend using the bracket for preconstruction scenarios. Typically after framing, there are many different trades competing for ceiling locations to run water pipes, ceiling can lights and fire sprinklers.

The Preconstruction/Attic-Install bracket will enable the installer to reserve the optimal locations for Wireless Access Points. The Bracket will serve as a clear beacon to the other trades that electronic devices will be installed at these locations. Finally, the Preconstruction/Attic-Install Bracket can also be used for installing the WAP-C2 in the attic.

Why install the WAP-C2 in the attic when it is so aesthetically pleasing in the ceiling?

Every home is different and requires different types of installations. The WAP-C2 offers many installation options to provide the best coverage, performance and aesthetics.

Note: Attic ambient temperature must remain below 120 F.
